COVID-19: Death Toll Now 1,247 as NCDC Confirms 829 New Cases

According to the report released via twitter handle of the health agency, the fresh infections were recorded from 15 states as follows: Lagos-296FCT-291Kaduna-79Rivers-40Kano-35Nasarawa-25Bauchi-19Benue-8Borno-7Edo-7Oyo-7Sokoto-7Cross River-3Jigawa-Ogun-2. The report further stated that 83,576 cases had been confirmed since the index case was reported on February 27 out of which 70,495 patients have been treated and discharged from across the various isolation facilities in Nigeria.
