Senate To Hold Public Hearing On Constitution Review Soon – Omo-Agege
By Francis Etuko Abuja (Precise Post) – Chairman Senate Adhoc Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution and Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has said that it will release the schedule of events for the forthcoming public hearings on amendment of the constitution by next week. This is even as the subcommittees of the panel are expected to submit their reports by next week. Omo-Agege stated this on Thursday at the National Assembly, Abuja when the Steering Committee of the Constitution Review panel hosted the Eminent Elders Forum, led by Professor Echefuna Onyeabadi. The Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, to the Deputy President of the Senate, Yomi Odunuga, disclosed this in a statement made available to Precise Post.
