Russia will not participate in the 2024 Euro. UEFA confirmed on Tuesday it has banned the country and would not allow it participate in the qualification for Euro 2024. Recall that Russian national team and Russian clubs were banned from international competitions earlier this year by UEFA following the invasion of Ukraine. “All Russian teams are currently suspended following the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee of 28 February 2022 which has further been confirmed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport on 15 July 2022,” European football’s governing body said in a statement. IMSU instructs students to resume studyies amid ASUU Strike

The management of Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, has decided to reopen the institution for academic activities despite the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). Hence, the university instructed its staff and students to resume classes on Tuesday. The university’s Public Relations Officer, Ralph Njokuobi, confirmed this to Daily Trust on Monday.
