Elon Musk Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and Twitter CEO, has stated that the risk of him being killed is “quite significant.” In a two-hour Q&A audio chat on Twitter Spaces, he told listeners he “definitely” would not “be doing any open-air car parades, let me put it that way.” He said: “Frankly the risk of something bad happening to me, or even literally being shot, is quite significant.“It’s not that hard to kill somebody if you wanted to, so hopefully they don’t, and fate smiles upon the situation with me and it does not happen … There’s definitely some risk there.”The self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist” added that “at the end of the day, we just want to have a future where we’re not oppressed”. Notorious Abuja Drug Dealer, Ibrahim Bendel, Declared Wanted

A notorious Abuja-based drug baron, Ibrahim Momoh aka ‘Ibrahim Bendel’ has been declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA. Spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, December 4, 2022, said the suspect is an ex-convict who escaped from jail in 2020.“Operatives stormed the warehouse of a notorious drug lord and an ex-convict, Ibrahim Momoh, alias Ibrahim Bendel who escaped from prison custody to return to his criminal trade and recovered 81 jumbo bags of cannabis weighing 1,278kgs,” the statement read. “Though the fleeing drug dealer is still at large and is wanted by the Agency, his warehouse keeper, 55-year-old Ghanaian, Richard Forson Gordon was arrested. “Ibrahim Momoh was first arrested on 27th November, 2014 with the same substance weighing 385.1kgs, prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to seven and a half years in prison on 22nd of April, 2020 but escaped from jail after three months.”

Gunmen Abduct Benue State Commissioner, Three Others

Ekpe Ogbu Ekpe Ogbu, the Benue State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, alongside Honourable Agbo Ode, one of his in-laws and the driver have been abducted by gunmen on Sunday night, December 4, at about 8.45pm. According to reports, they were kidnapped along David Marks Farm, after Akpa Otobi while on their way from Otukpo to Utonkon in Ado Local Government Area of Benue state. The commissioner was said to have attended a Church programme, where Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial district, dedicated his newly inaugurated Campaign Council to God at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Otukpo and was going to his village in NDEKMA, Utonkon District of Ado LGA after the Church programme when the gunmen who laid an ambush struck and whisked them away. The state police have since recovered his official vehicle and deposited it at the Divisional Police office in Otukpo. Efforts are currently being made to rescue the victims unhurt.

Abuja man electrocuted while stealing high-tension wire

A middle-aged man, identified simply as Ezekiel, was electrocuted while trying to steal a high-tension wire in the Utako area of the Federal Capital Territory. The incident occurred on Saturday night. A commercial driver, who asked to be identified only as Hassan, told our correspondent on Sunday that Ezekiel sustained severe burns from the incident. He said, “This early morning, a man known as Ezekiel, was electrocuted. He wanted to steal a wire from the high tension belonging to the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company and in the process of doing that he was electrocuted. “We heard the sound of an electrical spark in the night and also heard the scream of the man. “If not for the fact that saw, plier, and torchlight scattered on the ground, I would have thought that he wanted to commit suicide. But with those tools, he went there for a mission. Jigawa State Police Command, on Friday, arrested a 30-year-old woman, Balaraba Shehu, for allegedly burying her baby alive inside the toilet. Confirming the tragic incident on Saturday, in a statement issued by the command Spokesman, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, said the incident happened in Tsurma village, Kiyawa Local Government Area of Jigawa State. “On receipt of the report, detectives exhumed the newborn baby from the toilet and arrested the suspected mother. ”The baby was rushed to the Dutse General Hospital and certified dead by the doctor. ”Preliminary investigation led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man, Amadu Sale, a.k.a Dan Kwairo, of Akar village in Kiyawa LGA, who alleged to be responsible for the unwanted pregnancy and conspired with the suspect to bury the baby after delivery,” the statement said. The State Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Effiom Ekot, is said to have directed the case to be transferred to SCID Dutse for discreet investigation.

The Niger State Police Command has arrested four members of a fake security team that invaded the home of Senator representing Niger East senatorial, Senator Sani Musa, allegedly in search of foreign currency and arms kept in his residence in Minna.
