The authority of the Nigerian Army, on Monday, said its troops deployed for counter-terrorism operations in the North Central in conjunction with Volunteer Guards, have successfully repelled a kidnap attempt and rescued two kidnap victims in Benue State. KANO (SUNDIATA POST)- The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Kano State Command, says 30 per cent of its convicted inmates have been empowered with various vocational skills to cater for the needs of their families. SC Musbahu Lawan, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the command, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Kano. Lawan said the inmates were transformed not only to become law-abiding citizens, but also to earn a living through the skills and vocation they learned while in custody. Measles: Adamawa Govt. extends school resumption to May 13

YOLA (SUNDIATA POST)- The Adamawa Government has extended the resumption of primary and secondary schools for third term academic session to May 13, to enable the government vaccinate children against measles.
