The President of Naija Ratels Football Club, Barrister Paul Edeh and his friends will play against the players of Naija Ratels FC to raise awareness for women who are going through Gender based violence, which is in tandem with the theme of this year’s event. NFF Endorses Davidson Owumi as LMC’s CEO-designate

By Joan Nnenna Iwuchukwu Abuja (Precise Post) – The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick has approved the recommendation of the League Management Company (LMC) for the appointment of Mr Davidson Owumi as the new Chief Executive Officer of the organizing body for the Nigeria Professional Football League. Owumi, who has had a stellar career both as a player in and outside Nigeria and as a club administrator, is expected to resume office after the upcoming annual general meeting of the League Management Company. He replaces Hon. U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers: Flamingos Thrash Guinea 6-1

Abuja – In a first-round first leg game of the 2020 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers on Saturday, Yemisi Samuel scored a hat-trick as the Flamingos thrashed their Guinean counterparts 6-1. Nigeria took charge of the game from start to finish in Conakry as Chinyere Kalu opened scoring three minutes into the game after benefiting from a defensive error. Samuel fired in a stunner from 35 yards to double the lead for the Nigerian national under-17 women team against the hosts eight minutes later. Flamingos almost got the third in the 34th minute which could have been Samuel’s second goal of the match but her effort went off target.
