The fuel subsidy removal by the federal government has been described as a panacea for national development. Group Chairman, Mutual Benefits Assurance and Patron Friends of Jagaban Initiatives, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi while speaking with journalists urged Nigerians to embrace the decision of President Bola Tinubu to scrap the cankerworm that has been a clog in the wheel of the nation’s development. He said “we appreciate the fact that the early stage of the fuel subsidy removal will be tough, however, we urge Nigerians to be patient because there is a light at the end of the tunnel”. Engineer Sule stated this while inaugurating an all important committee on education sector development plan, at the Government House, on Wednesday.
