Last night the grand finale of the Nigerian Idol Season 7 edition took place which saw Progress emerging as the winner after defeating top 12 contestants who sang to the admiration of the audience on live shows to earn fan votes. Out of the twelve, 10 where sent out of the show leaving Progress and Zadok who emerged as the final two. Progress Chukwuyem finally emerged as the ultimate winner of the competition after garnering the highest vote of the season.
