ABUJA – Human rights activist, Comrade Shehu Sani has revealed that the reason why some private schools tolerate or conceal the bad behaviours of some of their students is because of the status of their parents and the financial gains from the tuition.

Shehu Sani made the revelation in reaction to the bullying of a female student of Lead British International school Gwarimpa, Abuja.

Precise Post recalls that the video making rounds on social media shows how Namtira Bwala was slapped repeatedly by fellow student over her refusal to answer inappropriate questions from school relationship.

The federal lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly cautioned that normal students must be protected from spoilt ones because parents sent their children for education and moral training and not to slavery.

The Kaduna-born human rights crusader who took to his X accout @ShehuSani to lend his voice to the alarming incident that has attracted widespread condemnation across the country said:

“The bullying of Students in Schools by their fellow students is a serious problem that schools authorities must act to address.”

“Parents sent their Children for education and moral training and not to slavery. Normal students must be protected from spoilt ones.”

“Most private Schools tolerate or conceals the bad behaviours of some of their students because of the status of their parents and the financial gains from the tuition. Schools with no moral codes are not schools. We are Africans not Americans,” he added.
