The 32-year-old reality TV star and media personality shared her plans in a recent vlog documenting her annual women’s wellness check-up.

Tolanibaj, whose real name is Tolani Shobajo, explained that she initially visited a gynaecologist for a pap smear and cervical screening but used the opportunity to learn more about the egg-freezing process.

“I want to freeze my eggs because I would rather have options than regrets in the future. I realised that I needed more information about the process, so I booked an appointment with my gynaecologist at One Wellness Centre,” she said.

“I am not freezing my eggs now, but I will maybe next year or in two years.”

Tolanibaj clarified that freezing her eggs is not an immediate plan but believes it is important to be fully informed before taking such a major step.

She said she hopes to undergo the procedure within the next couple of years when she feels the timing is right.

“Ladies, this is your reminder not to wait until something feels wrong before seeing your gynaecologist,” she added.

Tolanibaj first gained public attention after participating in the 2020 edition of Big Brother Naija. She returned for the BBNaija All Stars season in 2023 and has since built a career as a DJ, media personality, content creator and entrepreneur.

During a press briefing on Wednesday, the organisers also disclosed that this year’s winner will take home a whopping N160 million — the highest grand prize in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.

The organisers recently screened applicants for the 11th season of BBNaija. The physical auditions were held from May 22 to 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.

The audition was free and opened only to persons aged 21 and above with a valid means of identification.

Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, won the last edition on October 5, 2025.

She defeated 28 other housemates to claim the grand prize valued at N150 million, including N80 million cash and an SUV.

The award-winning actress recently took to her X page to open up about her creative influences.

Akindele emphasised the value of learning from admired figures, stating that such influences are often the foundation of great careers.

She noted that Perry, whom she described as one of her role models, significantly shaped her early approach to filmmaking.

“I’ve never been ashamed of my humble beginnings, and I never will be,” she wrote.

“Tyler Perry is one of my role models and I learnt a lot from watching his films, especially when it came to storytelling and writing.

“There is absolutely nothing wrong with learning from someone you admire. In fact, that’s how many great journeys begin.”

The filmmaker acknowledged that her development did not stop with emulation. She said she went on to attend workshops, gain hands-on experience, and refine her skills over time until she established her own distinctive creative voice. She added that her commitment to growth remains ongoing.

“Over the years, I broadened my knowledge, attended workshops, sharpened my craft through experience, and found my own voice. And I’m still learning because growth never stops,” she added.

“Today, many upcoming filmmakers say they’ve learnt from my work, and I’m truly grateful for that. That’s how creativity is passed on. We learn, we grow, and we inspire others.

“Never be ashamed of where you started. Keep learning. Keep growing.”

Akindele has enjoyed remarkable success at the box office in recent years. In 2023, her film ‘Battle on Buka Street’ became Nollywood’s highest-grossing movie after earning N640 million.

Later that year, ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ set a new record, becoming the highest-grossing film in West Africa.

Most recently, ‘Behind the Scenes’ became her third film to cross the N2 billion mark at the Nigerian box office.

The controversial military leader took to his verified X page on June 28 to declare that he would stage a solo protest at Kampala’s City Square to demonstrate his affection for the 44-year-old Grammy-winning artiste, despite her 18-year marriage to rapper and music executive Jay-Z.

The demonstration, he wrote, would be called “I’m here Beyonce”.

“If Beyonce doesn’t even know me, I’m going to mount a 1 man demonstration at City Square. It will be called ‘I’m here Beyonce’ demonstration,” Kainerugaba wrote in the now-deleted post.

In another deleted tweet, he issued an ultimatum to Jay-Z, 56, giving the rapper one week to “surrender” Beyoncé to him, threatening to escalate the matter to the United Nations if his demand was not met.

“I’m giving Jay-Z one week to surrender my wife to me. Or else I take this matter to the UN,” he added.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who married in April 2008, have three children: daughter Blue Ivy (born 2012) and twins Rumi and Sir (born 2017).

This is not the first time Kainerugaba has publicly expressed fixation on the singer.

In 2025, he posted a series of messages on X, claiming “Jay-Z married my woman” and challenging the hip-hop mogul to a physical duel, insisting that Jay-Z must travel to Uganda to apologise.

Neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z has responded to the comments.

The general’s remarks have also drawn mixed reactions on social media.

Kainerugaba, widely seen as a potential successor to his father, has previously made headlines for provocative and unconventional social media activity, often stirring diplomatic and public controversy.

Speaking on Saturday during the launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme in Lokoja, Kofi state, Tinubu encouraged wealthy Nigerians to redirect their priorities toward humanitarian causes.

The first lady specifically appealed to prominent musicians including Burna Boy, Davido, and Asake, urging them to establish foundations dedicated to supporting the less privileged.

She cited Senegalese-American singer Akon as a positive example of an artiste engaged in substantial philanthropic work.

Tinubu acknowledged that luxury cars and lavish lifestyles are not inherently wrong but emphasised that celebrities should also prioritise giving back to society.

“We have a lot of wealthy people but I think our priorities are different. I think it is high time we started helping those who need help in the country. I want to appeal to our young ones in the entertainment industry,” she said.

“I have mentioned it before and I would use Akon, a music icon who does a lot of great charity work. They make the Burna Boys of this world, Asake all of them, Davido. We want to see you with one foundation or the other.

“Help the poor with your money. Good cars are good. A Maybach is good, Rolls Royce is good but still you can still help.

“The burden on the government is huge. There are pepper sellers. They are vegetable sellers, they are okro sellers, melon sellers, akara, kuli-kuli sellers. Akara is delicious, I can tell you that.”

Tinubu’s appeal follows similar comments made weeks ago, which generated significant public debate.

While some Nigerians criticised her remarks as disconnected from the country’s severe economic realities, others defended her, viewing the suggestions as practical approaches to addressing unemployment.
