By Sunday Ejike Abuja (Precise Post) – The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT), sitting in Abuja has slated September 13, 2019, to decide the fate of President Muhammadu Buhari in the petition challenging his election in the February 23 general election filed by the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP)http://February 23 general election filed by the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his party. The seven-member panel of justices of the Court of Appeal, headed by Justice Muhammed Garba had last week reserved a date to deliver judgment in the petition, after parties adopted their final written addresses. The Electoral Act provides that an election petition should be filed, heard and determined within 180 days. Atiku and his party had filed a petition before the Tribunal challenging the outcome of the presidential poll that handed a second term in office to President Muhammadu Buhari. NYSC DG Encourages Corps Members To Inter-marry

Sokoto (Precise Post) – The Director-General of National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Brig.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim has encouraged corps members to inter-marry. Ibrahim made the call on Monday when he paid an unscheduled visit to the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Wamakko, Sokoto State. The NYSC DG made the call when he inspected the camp facilities and interacted with corps members, staff and military personnel deployed to train corps members. Ibrahim reminded the corps members that the main objective of the scheme was to promote unity among Nigerian youths especially graduates. Port Harcourt (Precise Post) – Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, has described as unfortunate the information being circulated that the State Government demolished a mosque in Port Harcourt, saying the report was planted by mischief-makers to create disaffection.  Addressing journalists at the location on Biambo Street, Off School Road by Mami Market Junction, near Rainbow Estate, Trans Amadi on Monday, Governor Wike said there was no mosque there, hence nothing was demolished.
