ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, has been affirmed as the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Malami disclosed this in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Mohammed Bello Doka, in which he expressed appreciation to leaders, stakeholders, and supporters of the party for their confidence and support.
According to the statement, the party also affirmed other candidates for key elective positions in the state. Retired Major General Aminu Bande was named as the ADC senatorial candidate for Kebbi Central, while retired Deputy Comptroller General Ibrahim Muhammad Mera emerged as the party’s candidate for Kebbi North Senatorial District.
Garba Danjuma Limi was equally affirmed as the ADC candidate for Kebbi South Senatorial District.
Malami said the party remained committed to delivering purposeful leadership, good governance, justice, security, and sustainable development for the people of Kebbi State and Nigeria at large.
He urged party members and supporters to remain united and determined in the collective pursuit of a prosperous future for coming generations.
