…..As Shettima Tours Newly Constructed Kebbi State Secretariat Located Along the Bye-Pass in Kawara

ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Yesterday, in a significant visit to Kebbi State, Vice President Kashim Shettima, accompanied by Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, and the President’s Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, attended the wedding Fatiha ceremonies of Zahraddeen Faruku and Sadiya Bello Kaoje, as well as Hussaini Adamu Hussaini and Yusura Bala Bawa, in Birnin Kebbi.
The delegation also included high-profile figures such as the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator A.K. Kyari, and the Deputy National Chairman (North) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Bukar Dalori. Key traditional and political leaders were present at the ceremonies, including the Emir of Gwandu and Chairman of the Kebbi State Traditional Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Muhammad Iliyasu Bashar; Minister of Labour, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi; and former Sokoto State Governor, Senator Aliyu Wamakko.

Other dignitaries in attendance included the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Bagudu; former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase; and former Governors from Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara States—Alhaji Sa’idu Dakingari, Senator Aminu Tambuwal, and Senator Ahmed Sani, respectively.

The Vice President’s visit also saw the participation of Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Yusuf Sununu; Senator Bala Na’Allah; members of the National Assembly; and representatives of the APC National Working Committee.

During his time in Kebbi, Shettima toured the newly constructed Kebbi State Secretariat, located along the Bye-Pass in Kawara, a project poised to enhance the state’s administrative capacity.
