The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church (ESOCS), Nigeria’s first indigenous church, founded in 1925, is set to celebrate its 100th Anniversary in grand style.
As part of the centenary celebrations, a special Thanksgiving Service will hold at the National Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 1:30 PM.
The event will bring together all ESOCS members across Northern Nigeria, as well as friends, Christians, and well-wishers from different denominations to thank God for a century of faith, worship, and impact.
“We give all glory to Almighty God, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for sustaining the Church for 100 years,” the organizers said in a statement.
The centenary celebration is not just a milestone for the church but also a historic moment for Christianity in Nigeria, as ESOCS remains a symbol of indigenous faith, unity, and spiritual growth.
All Christians and well-wishers are warmly invited to join in this once-in-a-lifetime Thanksgiving celebration.
