ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has announced the emergence of Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo as the Kano NDC governorship candidate for the forthcoming elections.
Kwankwaso also disclosed that Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna would contest for the Kano Central Senatorial seat under the party’s platform. He stated this Friday(today) on his X handle account (formerly twitter).
According to him, the choice of the candidates was guided by the principles of equity, fairness, loyalty and competence, which he said remain fundamental to the unity and progress of the Kwankwasiyya movement and the party.
The former governor made the announcement ahead of the party’s affirmation exercise, expressing optimism that the process would be peaceful, seamless and successful.
He also prayed for victory for the party and its candidates in the forthcoming elections, urging members and supporters to remain committed to the ideals of the movement.
