KANO – The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Sen. David Mark, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Military Administrator of Plateau and one-time Deputy Minority Whip of the Senate, Sen. Mohammed Mana.This was contained in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Paul Mumeh, on Sunday in Kano.
Mark described the late Mana as “a fine officer and gentleman who served the nation with dignity and honour.”
Reflecting on their long-standing relationship, the ADC chairman said:
“In the military, Mana was a soldier who protected the territorial integrity of Nigeria and was in the forefront of promoting the transition to democratic authorities.
Mark prayed that God, in His infinite mercy, would grant the deceased eternal rest.
The late Mana, aged 75, passed away on Friday in Abuja after a brief illness.( NAN)
