ABEOKUTA (PRECISE POST) – The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Foundation has announced that it is offering 1,000 free cataract extraction surgeries in Ogun State from 6th to 12th January 2025.
The NNPC Foundation in a statement released on its official X account, said the free cataract extraction surgeries is in contiuation of their mission to restore sight and improve lives.
The venues for the surgeries are:
- FMC, Abeokuta (Ogun Central, North, South, etc.)
- Likosi Health Centre, Mosimi (Ijebu, Sagamu, Simawa, Ogijo, Ikorodu)
- FMC, Ijoga (Ogun West, Rep. of Benin, etc.)
- FMC, Ajebo (Ajebo, Ogunmakin, Ibadan, etc.)
While reminding that blindness can be avoided, the NNPC Foundation urged the public to take advantage of this programme to get screened and have their sights restored. “Spread the word and help us reach those in need,” the statement added.
