ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Former Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Seriake Dickson, has said the growing support being recorded by the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) across Nigeria and in the diaspora reflects the strong desire among Nigerians for responsible leadership, national unity, justice, and democratic renewal.
Dickson stated this on Monday via his X handle after receiving political figures, stakeholders, aspirants, and supporters of the party from different parts of the country and abroad over the past several weeks and months.
According to him, the increasing influx of supporters into the party demonstrates that many Nigerians remain committed to building a nation that works for all citizens through courage, sacrifice, and collective determination.
Among those who visited him was Dr. Simput Eagles, the NDC governorship aspirant in Plateau State, who led a delegation to discuss the progress of the party and strategies for strengthening its structures across the state.
Dickson also hosted a delegation of NDC stakeholders from the diaspora and commended them for their sustained commitment and contributions to the development of the party despite residing outside the country.
He praised members of the diaspora for remaining actively involved in Nigeria’s democratic future and urged them to continue supporting the ideals, vision, and aspirations of the NDC.
The former governor further disclosed that he received delegations and stakeholders from Bayelsa, Niger, Katsina, Adamawa, and Taraba states, alongside other political figures from across the federation.
He thanked them for their confidence in the party and encouraged members to remain united, strengthen the party at the grassroots, and work collectively towards the success of the NDC ahead of the coming election season.
