ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The National Assembly has officially extended the resumption date for its plenary sessions from Tuesday, April 29, 2025, to Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
According to a statement released on April 21, 2023 and signed by Kamoru Ogunlana, Clerk to the National Assembly, the extension is to enable Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members to actively participate in the upcoming Workers’ Day celebrations and attend to various constituency engagements.
The Clerk urged lawmakers and the general public to take note of the new date and expressed regret for any inconvenience the adjustment may cause.
“We appreciate your understanding and cooperation,” the statement concluded.
