Ondo Guber Primaries: PDP Appoints Dogara Chairman of 5-man Screen Committee

Abuja (Precise Post) – The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed former Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Yakubu Dogara as Chairman of the 5-man screening committee for the Ondo governorship primaries of the party.

The party disclosed this on Wednesday via its official twitter handle @OfficialPDPNig in a statement signed by the National Organising Secretary, Austin Akobundu (rtd).

The statement partly reads:

“Our great party, the PDP, has approved the nomination of the following party members to serve on the screening Gubernatorial Committee.

The members of the committee are as follows:

1. Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara (Chairman)
2. Sen Zainab Kure (Member)
3. Hon Fred Agbedi (Member)
4. Barr. Ndubuisi Agwuama (Member)
5. Rev Bunmi Jenyo (Secretary).

The committee is mandated to screen all aspirants for the upcoming 2020 Governorship election in Ondo state.

The exercise is scheduled for Thursday, July 02, 2020 at the National Working Committee Hall, Wadata plaza.
