Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has released its COVID-19 case update for Friday informing that a total of 31,323 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria since the index case in February with 709 reported casualties.
Similarly, the health agency also announced that a total of 12,795 patients have been treated and discharged within the period under review.
Releasing the latest report via its official twitter handle late Friday night, NCDC said COVID-19 curve is yet to be flattened in Lagos state, the epicentre of the infection in the country as it accounted for 224 new cases out of the 575 confirmed cases for the day.
