ABUJA – The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite has extolled the virtues of the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu,as she turns marks her 65.
Adegbite, in his birthday message on Sunday in Abuja, described the first lady as the indisputable mother of the nation and the Esther of our time.
He further described her as a quintessential leader and a pacesetter.
Adegbite said, “You are the first first lady in the history of the nation who is a distinguished senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the first to occupy the exalted office as an ordained Minister of God.
“Posterity will be kind to you for your invaluable contributions to the growth of this nation especially in this current democratic dispensation.”
According to him, her unwavering support to President Bola Tinubu was palpable even to the blind.
He further described her as a rare gem, a woman of candor and capacity.
” Your love for humanity, the less privileged women and children is contagious and uncanny.
“As you mark your birthday anniversary today, the Chairman , Board and the entire staff of the NCPC felicitate with you on this auspicious occasion of adding another year in your life.
“You are indeed the Mother of NCPC, and I am happy to know that you have been able to trace God’s faithfulness in your life thus you have unshaken faith in God’s timeline,” the executive secretary added.
Adegbite urged the first lady to continue to uphold God in all her dealings as He has always been her Ebenezer.
He prayed that the Good Lord would continue to grant her the grace and strength to record more uncountable milestones in the service of God and in the service of the nation.
Adegbite also prayed that the Good Lord would continue to grant her good health of mind and body to finish well in her onerous task of lifting men , women and children out of poverty.(NAN)
