ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, saying the ongoing economic reforms are reshaping Nigeria’s economic landscape and attracting broad support from “all lovers of progress” across the country.
Uzodimma stated this in a statement he released on his X handle on Thursday shortly after the PGF meeting in Abuja.
Speaking on the outcome of a high-level meeting of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Uzodimma said the reforms signal a renewed national commitment to growth, stability, and inclusive development, while strengthening public confidence in the capacity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to lead Nigeria forward.
According to him, the meeting, held with the full leadership of the party in attendance, including the National Chairman, all Deputy National Chairmen, and the National Secretary, unanimously commended the National Chairman and his team for their forward-looking initiatives.
Uzodimma highlighted the party’s e-registration drive as a major step toward youth inclusion and enhanced transparency, describing it as a reform that aligns the party with modern democratic practices.
He also disclosed that the forum adopted the proposed timetable for party congresses and the national convention in strict compliance with INEC guidelines.
The governors, he said, reaffirmed their collective commitment to deepening internal democracy, strengthening party structures, and advancing reforms that promote transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness across all levels of the federation.
“These steps,” Uzodimma noted, “underscore the resolve of the progressive family to build a stronger party and a more prosperous Nigeria.”
