Nigeria Confirms 221 New Cases of COVID-19

Abuja (Precise Post ) – Nigeria on Friday confirmed 221 new cases of COVID -19 recorded from 18 States and FCT.

The eighteen states including FCT are as follow:

Abia-46
FCT-22
Gombe-20
Plateau-17
Rivers-11
Bauchi-7
Benue-6
Ekiti-6
Imo-6
Kaduna-4
Kwara-4
Ondo-4
Ogun-3
Osun-3
Bayelsa-1
Edo-1
Kano-1

The NCDC in the report released via twitter handle said the total confirmed cases now stand at 56,956 and total discharged case now 48,305.

Also 1,094 deaths have been recorded so far since the index case was reported in February 2020.
