by Arabella Zikora

Nigeria National League, NNL, side Sporting Lagos have opted against renewing the contract of their head coach, Abdullahi Biffo.

Biffo was drafted in as a replacement for Paul Offor in the second half of last season.

The former Kwara United gaffer was however unable to save the club from relegation from the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.

It was learnt Sporting Lagos are carefully evaluating their options for a new long-term head coach.

Meanwhile, 25 players have left the club.

Top on the list of players who have dumped the club are former NPFL top scorer, Junior Lokosa, Jonathan Alukwu, Pascal Durugbor, Godwin Odibo, Wisdom Fernando and Rivio Anyemwenre.
