Twenty players have arrived at the Super Eagles’ camp in Ikot Ekpene ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau. The Super Eagles opened camp for both games at Four Points By Sheraton Hotel, Ikot Ekpene, on Monday.
Head coach Éric Chelle, his assistants, and other backroom staff were the first to hit camp. Captain Wilfred Ndidi, winger Samuel Chukwueze, and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali were expected to arrive in camp later on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles held their first training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Tuesday night. The first 15 minutes of the session were opened to the media and members of the public. Nigeria will host the Barea of Madagascar on Friday, September 25, before travelling to face the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau next week Tuesday.
