AI: Fate of Humanity Must Never Be Left to The ‘Black Box’ of An Algorithm – Guterres Warns

United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres has lamented Artificial Intelligence (AI) without human oversight, warning that the fate of humanity must never be left to the ‘black box’ of an algorithm.

Guterres made the declaratuon on Wednesday when he took to his X account and said:

“Artificial Intelligence without human oversight would leave the world blind – and perhaps nowhere more perilously and recklessly than in global peace and security.”

“The fate of humanity must never be left to the ‘black box’ of an algorithm.”
