Benin City (Precise Post) – The Members of the Edo State primary election committee led by Governor Hope Uzodimma have arrived Benin City ahead of tomorrow’s exercise.
Disclosing this in a statement released through its official twiiter handle the party said:
“We are pleased by efforts so far put in place for a successful conduct of the primary to elect our candidate for the Sept. 19 gubernatorial election.
“All logistics have been put in place to ensure security of lives & property during and after the primary. We assure all aspirants of a level playing field.
“There is no faction in our state chapter. The very few persons who were opposed to the direct primary are those who are loyal to Godwin Obaseki. And those same persons have moved to PDP with the Governor.
“Every card-carrying member of Edo State APC is in support of the direct mode of primaries, which will hold unfailingly tomorrow.
