ABUJA (PRECISE POST) –   The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reopening of its Membership Electronic-Registration Exercise across the country ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The party made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, released on the official X handle of the party.

According to the statement, the e-registration exercise will officially resume on Monday, August 31, 2026, across all wards nationwide.

The APC called on party stakeholders, supporters and members, including existing and intending members, to participate actively in the exercise.

The party said existing members are expected to validate their membership details, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and formally join the party.

It stated that participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN) to qualify for registration.

The APC explained that the electronic registration initiative was designed to digitise its membership register and improve the integrity and reliability of membership records.

According to the party, the exercise will also facilitate efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, promote internal democracy and strengthen its commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.

The statement urged party members and prospective members nationwide to take advantage of the exercise as the party prepares for the 2027 General Elections.
