Abuja (Precise Post) – Former Minister of Education (a.k.a Madam Due Process) has condemned the arrest of Mr Macaronii and other compatriots yesterday, describing it as a deplorable war against citizens by the federal government.
Ezekwesili who urged President Muhammadu Buhari to consult history to realise that no leader ever wins a war waged against their people, stated this when she took to her twitter handle in reaction to the reported police arrest and brutality of Lekki Toll Gate protesters on Saturday.
Her tweet reads:
“I can repeat this for ever.
‘Consult history and you’ll find that no leader ever won a war they waged against their people.
“None, @NGRPresident @MBuhari .
“What happened to @mrmacaronii and other compatriots today is deplorable war against citizens by your government. ✍🏾”
Precise Post recalls that Mr Macaronii has since been freed by the police.
