Abuja (Precise Post) – President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the renewal of appointment of Engr. Freeborn Edetanlaen Okhiria, as the Managing Director/CEO of Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).
This extension is in accordance with the relevant section of the Nigerian Railway Corporation Act. Cap 129, LFN, 2004.
The announcement, contained in a statement signed by the D (PPR), Eric Ojiekwe said the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja.
Precise Post recall s that Engr. Freeborn Okhiria who was first appointed as MD of the corporation on 24th October, 2016.
This second but final tenure of four years will start effective 20th October, 2020.
