Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy has paid tribute to Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of his colleague, Wizkid, who passed away recently.

Mrs. Balogun died on Friday.

Since her death was announced, celebrities and public figures have flooded the social media space with condolence messages to the singer, Wizkid and his family.

However, Burna Boy took it to a new level after pausing his set at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States, to pay tribute to the late Mrs. Balogun.

He commanded the crowd to observe a minute silence for the late mother of the Starboy boss, before proceeding to sing a line from his collaborative song with Wizkid, ‘Ginger.’
