Abuja (Precise Post) – The recently inaugurated National Care Taker Committee of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been said to be the best thing to happen to the party at the moment.
A chieftain of the party and stakeholder in Adamawa state, Alhaji Abdullahi Kakanda Danasabe who made this prediction in a media chat with newsmen also said, “The situation that necessitated the Care – taker
option in our great party could be likened to the case of a sick person, and you know that there is no perfect situation as anybody could fall sick at any time – the cause of the sickness notwithstanding.
The most appropriate thing to do would be to get medical attention. It could be a specialist or a consultant doctor. The overriding objective is to get effective result from that effort”.
Alhaji Danasabe an oil magnate and congress candidate for the post of National Youth Leader during the last National Convention of the APC in Abuja last year had made very impressive outing in that tough and keenly contested convention that drew the warning attention of most national figures and leaders of the party to him said that the issue with the party is not for pointing accusing fingers and passing blames as some are misled to do, but for the development of positive mind and sense of loyalty and faith that victory will surely come the way of the party at last.
He expressed optimism that the forthcoming National Convention of the party which would be midwifed by the caretaker committee would be fairly conducted whereby there would be no issue of anointed candidates.
According to him, “With the caliber of the members of the Caretaker Committee, and its leadership, there is
every hope that the right things, for the victory and glory of the party, would be done”.
