Cleric Admonishes Christians Against Rituals For Financial Gains

Jos – The Resident Pastor of Shepherd House Assembly International, Rev. Tajan Moltok, has admonished against involvement in rituals for financial gains.

The cleric gave the admonition during the church sermon titled: ‘Breaking limits’, on Sunday in Jos.

He decried the desperation of in the ‘get rich syndrome’, saying “only God is the giver of wealth”.

Moltok urged the congregation to indulge in legitimate businesses and seek God’s favour to bless it.

He urged to persevere in their endeavours and prayed for a new season for families, saying “your connection with God will exempt you from what is affecting others negatively.”

He said breaking limits entailed overcoming fear through faith, which could be achieved through hearing the word of God.

Moltok described fear as a weapon used by the enemy to truncate children of God from achieving their goals, saying it required supernatural intervention to address it.

to fear is faith through hearing the word which has the capacity to build your faith.

“I pray your faith will not fail you,” he prayed.

Accordkng to him, God wants believers to know that with him, all things are possible as he can open doors even at the eleventh hour.

“God is saying I am greater than any problems that you may have.

“God is saying I am the Lord that changeth things ,” the cleric said. (NAN)
