ABUJA FCT – Nigeria’s Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh has urged Nigerians to come together let’s congratulate and celebrate our very own Folashade Oluwafemiayo who delivered an outstanding performance at the Paralympics.
According to Senator Enoh who made the call on his X accojnt on Sunday, said Folashade Oluwafemiayo should be celebrated for bringing pride to herself and our great nation, Nigeria.
Precise Post recalls that Folashade set a Paralympic record by lifting 167kg, and also set an Elite World Record.
Senator Emoh”s letter to Nigeeians reads:
Dear Nigerians,
Our very own Folashade Oluwafemiayo has delivered an outstanding performance at the Paralympics. She achieved something no other woman has done in powerlifting at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, France.
Folashade not only set a Paralympic record by lifting 167kg, but she also set an Elite World Record. She served as the Team Captain for Team Nigeria’s contingent at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, demonstrating great skill, determination, and an excellent spirit.
Let’s come together to congratulate and celebrate our champion for bringing pride to herself and our great nation, Nigeria.
