Abuja (Precise Post) – FCT FA Chairman, Alhaji Adam Abba Mouktar has proffered the way forward to combat the dreaded CoVid 19 pandemic that has ravaging the world at large, for sports to return in Nigeria.
Speaking exclusively to Precisepost.ng. the humble sports gaffer said there should be a robust healthy and safety protocol that spell out proper ways that will effectively return the games and not endangering any of the participants.
He also stated that in as much as we all need sports to come back, we must be patient and follow all the government guildlines. Because there should be a balance where the economy of the sports does not suffer irreparable damage and the entertainment is preserved. We have to look for effective home grown solutions that would work for us. So we have to be creative and innovative about how we find sustainable solutions.
The challenge is to quickly return to sports so that it won’t die. We can’t copy the design of other countries because is specifically for them. Sporting activities has returned in other countries and it have so far been successful, he stated.
The chairman who recently marked his one year in office has giving himself a pat at the back after him and his team were able to achieve much as the plans marked out when assume office has been implemented that changed the fortune of football in FCT. While thanking stakeholders who ensured the rapid growth with their maximum cooperation.
