Abuja (Precise Post) – Lagos state, the epicentre of COVID-19 in Nigeria has recorded 210 infections out of the 410 confirmed cases on Tuesday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported.
The NCDC while disclosing this via its twitter handle, stated that the remaining 200 infections were reported from 15 other states as follows:
FCT-45 ; Ondo-30; Plateau-21 ; Edo-19; Ogun-16; Oyo-13; Nasarawa-12; Bauchi-11; Enugu-10 ; Kwara-7; Kaduna-6; Anambra-4; Ebonyi-3; Abia-2 and Rivers-1.
With the new confirmed cases, total confirmed infections since the index case is now 49,895 out of which 37,051 have been discharged while the country has recorded 981 casualties.
