Abuja (Precise Post) – The federal agency in charge of COVID-19 in Nigeria – Centre for Disease Control said that 152 fresh cases of the novel virus were confirmed on Tuesday in the country.
The health agency Lagos State top the list with 93 infections followed by FCT with 21 cases while Oyo State came third with 15 patients.
Others are; Rivers-11, Bauchi-7, Kwara-2 with
Bayelsa, Edo and Plateau recording 1 infection each.
This new cases brought the total confirmed cases 64,336, the NCDC reported.
The agency further said that 60,333 patients edhave been treated and discharged after their second tests returned negative.
It however reported that 1,160 deaths had been recorded in Nigeria as a result of the novel virus.
