COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 239 New Cases; Plateau Accounts for 49%

Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced the confirmation of 239 new cases of #COVID19 on Tuesday.

The report which it released via Twitter handles has it that Plateau state which has now replaced Lagos as the epicentre of the virus infection accounted for 49% of the newly recorded cases.

The further said that the total Confirmed cases now 54,247 out of which 42,010 patients have been discharged while 1,023 lives have been lost to the coronavirus since the index case was reported in late February.

The in its report released late Tuesday submitted that the new cases were recorded as follows from the following states:
