COVID-19: Nigeria Records 1,588 Fresh Cases; Death Toll Now 1,647 – NCDC Says

Abuja (Precise Post) – Another 1,588 fresh cases of #COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday even as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control regrettably announced that the death toll is now 1,647 in the country.

The NCDC released the report via it’s twitter handle account yesterday night.

According to the report, the fresh cases were recorded from the underlisted states including the FCT:

Lagos-535; Anambra-218; Oyo-155; FCT-150;
Kano-124; Gombe-60; Kaduna-49; Ebonyi-48;
Plateau 46; Akwa Ibom-39; Niger-37 and Edo-33.

Others are: Katsina-23; Rivers-18; Taraba-15;
Nasarawa-14; Ogun-11; Delta-9 while Ekiti and
Jigawa- reported 2 cases each.

The report further stated that the total confirmed cases have risen to139,242 out of which 112,557 patients have been discharged.
