By Chris Nwabuko

Abuja (Precise Post) – Federal lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central senatorial district in the 8th Assembly, Senator, Shehu Sani has said that there is no Justice in Nigeria.

The lawmaker justified his statement when he juxtaposed the treatment meted out to Naira Marley for violating COVID-19 protocol and the sealed lips maintained by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 over the same contravention during the Edo state political campaign rallies.

Precise Post recall that Naira Marley was arrested for violating the interstate movement ban and social distance protocol of the government aimed at containing the spread of COVID-19 for travelling from Lagos to Abuja to organise a concert in Abuja. He was tried and fined for violating the #COVIDー19 protocols.

Shehu Sani who stated this when took to his twitter handle @ShehuSani tweeted thus:

“Where is Justice if Naira Marley can be arrested, tried and fined for violating the #COVIDー19 protocols while the Edo Political Campaigns rallies goes unchallenged by the law, by the @NCDCgov and by the PTF?

The rallies in Edo state have been observed in breach of the all protocols and guidelines stipulated by the NCDC and PTF for the containment of spread of the dreaded novel virus which has infected no fewer than 46,140 Nigerians as the last update from the country’s health agency in charge of the treatment of COVID-19 cases.
