Abuja (Precise Post) – Borno, Bauchi and Nasarawa remain at the bottom of the table on Thursday with 1 confirmed cases each as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control reported that 373 new persons tested positive for the coronavirus in 20 states.
While Lagos state led with 69 cases followed by Osun with 41, Kaduna and oyo had 40 patients each and the FCT raked in 35.
Others are : Plateau-22; Rivers-19; Kano-17; Ondo-17 ; Ogun-15 ; Abia-14; Gombe-12 ; Imo-9 ; Enugu-7 ; Kwara-6; Delta-5; Niger-2; Borno-1; Bauchi-1 and Nasarawa-1.
With the 373 new cases, total confirmed cases in Nigeria now is 48,116 out of which 34,309 patients have been treated and discharged from different facilities across the country after recovery.
Regrettably, 966 persons have lost their lives to novel COVID-19 pandemic since the index case on Fecruary 27 in Nigeria.
