Abuja (Precise Post) – The latest COVID-19 report released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has it that 1,138 fresh cases were recorded on Wednesday, bringing the total confirmed cases to 134,690.
The report released via it’s twitter handle further stated that a total of 108,657 patients have been treated and discharged from various isolation facilities in Nigeria while 1,618 lives have regrettably been lost to the novel virus since the index case was reported in February 27, 2020 in Nigeria.
According to the health agency, the fresh cases were recorded from 21 states including the FCT as follows:
Lagos-377; FCT-172; Plateau-86; Kano-84; Edo-60; Osun-47; Nasarawa-41; Imo-40; Rivers-36;
Niger and Oyo-32 each.
Others are: Borno-29; Kaduna-27; Delta-18;
Kwara-17; Cross River-9; Ekiti-8; Bauchi and Ogun-7 each; Sokoto-6 and Bayelsa-3.
