COVID-19 Update: NCDC Confirms 1,138 Fresh Cases, Total Now 134,690

Abuja (Precise Post) – The latest report released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has it that 1,138 fresh cases were recorded on Wednesday, bringing the total to 134,690.

The report released via it’s twitter handle further stated that a total of 108,657 have been treated and discharged from various isolation facilities in Nigeria while 1,618 lives have regrettably been lost to the since the was reported in February 27, 2020 in Nigeria.

According to the health agency, the fresh cases were recorded from 21 states including the FCT as follows:

Lagos-377; FCT-172; Plateau-86; Kano-84; Edo-60; Osun-47; Nasarawa-41; Imo-40; Rivers-36;
Niger and Oyo-32 each.

Others are: Borno-29; Kaduna-27; Delta-18;
Kwara-17; Cross River-9; Ekiti-8; Bauchi and Ogun-7 each; Sokoto-6 and Bayelsa-3.

The NCDC gave the breakdown of the total as below:
