Abuja (Precise Post) – The latest update about the novel virus pandemic has it that 176 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease and Control on Tuesday.
The report released via twitter handle added that the newly Confirmed cases brought total Confirmed infections to 57,613 out of which 48,836 Patients have been treated and discharged from across the isolation centres in Nigeria.
The health agency also stated that the management of the COVID-19 pandemic has not been without fatality, adding that 1,100 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications.
According to the report, the 176 new cases were recorded from the underlisted stated and FCT:
Lagos-73; Plateau-50; FCT-17; Rivers-8;
Ondo-6; Niger and Ogun-5; Edo and Kaduna-3 each; Oyo-2; Bauchi, Bayelsa, Delta and Nasarawa-1 each.
