ABUJA (PRECISE POST) — Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, has expressed gratitude to the President and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for appointing him Director, New Media, of the party’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
Dada, who made this known in a statement posted on his X handle on Saturday, described the appointment as a great honour and a responsibility he would undertake with humility and commitment.
He appreciated President Tinubu and the APC leadership for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to give his best to the assignment.
“I am deeply honoured and grateful to be entrusted with the responsibility of serving as Director, New Media, of the 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Council,” he said.
According to him, the growing influence of digital platforms in public communication makes New Media a critical component of modern political campaigns.
“New Media is now central to how people communicate, engage, and participate in public discourse,” Dada said.
He promised to bring innovation to the assignment while working with other members of the campaign team to strengthen the APC’s digital presence and engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
Dada said he accepted the responsibility with gratitude and was committed to contributing meaningfully to the success of the campaign.
He also prayed for wisdom, unity, strength and the grace to serve with distinction and achieve success in the task ahead.
