Athletic Bilbao player, Dani Vivian has said that Manchester City midfielder Rodri should have won the Ballon d’Or in the past.
Vivian and Rodri are both international teammates with the Spain national team.
The pair are currently at the ongoing Euro 2024 in Germany.
They will hope to lead Spain to victory when they face England in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday.
Speaking with A Bola, Vivian said: “The grass is always greener in other places, but for my part, I think Rodri is without a doubt the best player in the world, but he doesn’t benefit from the marketing campaign that other players have behind them.
“He should have already won the Ballon d’Or when he won the Champions League, scoring the winning goal in the final.”
