Nollywood actor, Uche Odoputa has revealed that his father is still missing four months after he was abuducted by unknown gunmen.
The newly married actor who is currently based in The United Kingdom via his Instagram page revealed that his state government is not doing anything about the insecurity the people are subjected to.
Odoputa shared a photo of his father and expressed his pains. He wrote: ” It’s really very sad 😔 and heartbreaking 💔 how under the watch of one Government my state “Imo” has lost more person’s now then we ever did during the civil war 😢 including my father Mr Kenneth odoputa who has been taking away for 4 months now 😢 💔 without any information Dead/Alive and no one is saying anything about it hmmm #prayerforImostate.”
Recall that The 52 year old seasoned Nollywood actor was close to becoming an A-list actor. He had a huge fan base and was on the verge of becoming as prominent as the likes of Emeka Ike, Ramsey Nouah and Jim Iyke.
Unfortunately, he altered the course of his career. In 2007, he was arrested for trafficking drugs and subsequently, he was imprisoned for two years and three weeks.
The Orlu, Imo State-born actor, said he wasn’t making enough money and some individuals took advantage of his desperation and introduced him to the drug trade.
