Ease of Doing Business: Nasarawa to Establish Portal for Complaints and Feedbacks

Lafia (Precise Post) – Nasarawa State Government has concluded plans to set up a portal where complaints about activities of government agencies and officials, will be processed and feedbacks received in its bid to enhance ease of doing business.

The State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Associate Professor Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana, disclosed this while briefing the media, shortly after the monthly state executive council meeting, on Friday.

According to the Justice Commissioner, investors coming into the state, who require any form of service from Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), or who seek response or feedback, will be expected to explore the portal, where such complaints would be processed online.

Kana disclosed further that the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, will have a dashboard through which he will be receiving some of those complaints, with the platform to be handled by his Special Adviser on Economic Planning and Investment, Barrister Ibrahim Abdullahi.

He explained that already, a lot of progress have been made on that and very soon, the portal will come online and anyone who, especially persons bringing investments to the state or requires any form of service from the MDAs in Nasarawa State and is not satisfied, or has not received a feedback, will file his complaint through that portal and he will be expected to receive response or feedback from the portal.
