Benin City (Precise Post) – The handball event of the National Sports Festival tagged Edo 2020, commenced on Wednesday in Benin City, Edo State.
Lagos and FCT set the pace in the male category with an exciting 25-25 draw in the first match of the Handball event while Delta didn’t find it easy but eventually came through as they defeated Kaduna 30-27 in the female category.
Still in the female category, Plateau had to dig deep as they defeated Imo 19-18.
Host, Edo suffered a huge defeat as they lost to Kano 28-17 in the male.
