Abuja (Precise Post) – Federal lawmaker that represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the 8th senate, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the farmers/Herders crisis rocking the country, urging federal government to recall herdsmen back home and develop cattle industry and create wealth.

The advise is coming against the backdrop of the national tension created by the quit notice to the criminals and kidnapper herdsmen to vacate south west and the refusal by the herdsmen to vacate the said forests.

The former lawmaker who made the call when he took to his twitter handle, stated that cattle is the crude oil of the north.

Senator Shehu Sani while highlighting the enormous wealth-creating potentials of well harnessed cattle industry, further reminded the federal government and northern governors that Germany earned $4.6billion from the export of Cheese; Australia earned $7.6billion from beef; New Zealand earned $6.3billion from Milk and Ireland $1.2billion from butter.

The tweet reads:

“The Cattle is the Crude oil of the North. Recall the Herdsmen back home, develop the industry and create wealth. Germany earned $4.6Billion from the export of Cheese. Australia earned $7.6 from beef. New Zealand earned $6.3Billion from Milk. Ireland $1.2 from butter.”
